  • Light: Prefers medium to bright indirect light, but can tolerate low light. Avoid direct sun. 
  • Water: Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil is dry. 
  • Soil: Prefers well-draining, neutral to acidic soil. 
  • Fertilizer: Feed with a general-purpose fertilizer every second or third watering. 
  • Repotting: Repot after the plant doubles in size or once a year, whichever comes first. 
  • Flowers: Occasional mouse tail flower spikes may emerge.
